Microsoft makes an ActiveX control called MSINET.OCX which provides functions
needed for internet transfers. HomeSeer interfaces with this control to provide its
FTP and HTTP (web) access. If you try to use 'hs.ftp' or 'hs.GetURL' in a
script, and you do not have this control on your system, you will get the
following error message in your log file:

Component 'MSINET.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
The system update available from the
HomeSeer beta page
includes MSINET.OCX (scroll to the bottom of the beta page to find the system update link).
Simply install the system update to fix the problem.
