Soundex
Enabling Soundex instructs the search to find words that are pronounced similar
to the words you entered, rather than looking for exact matches. This type of search
is helpful if you are not sure of the spelling of a word, or if you would like to find
variations of the word entered.
When using Soundex, a set of rules is applied to each search word, in order to generate a
Soundex code. All words with the same Soundex code are considered a match.
For example, if you wanted to find all knowledge base documents that mention the the word "connection",
and you turn on the Soundex option, you'll also get documents that contain the word "connect".
